Discover “Miles” more rewards with Business Plus

With Cathay Pacific, business travel will become more rewarding than ever. In August 2023, we are introducing Asia Miles to our revamped Business Plus programme. Key features include:

Earn in a few steps

Every time the employees fly with us, Business Plus members (the company) will earn Business Status Points and Asia Miles on top of whatever the employees earn for themselves. The higher the company’s Business Status, the more additional Points and miles the company will earn for each flight. 

More ways to spend

Elevate the employees’ business trip with benefits and rewards to choose when they need it, from lounge entry to Cathay Silver membership. Alternatively, transfer miles to the employees so they can spend on thousands of travel and lifestyle rewards.

Manage business travel in one place

With our 24/7 self-service platform, Business Plus members can book employee flights, check booking history, download reports and manage rewards on our improved Business Plus website. 


 

Major changes in Business Plus

The following changes will be introduced to the programme:

  • Asia Miles and Business Status Points

    The previous Business Plus points is decommissioned. In place, Business Plus members will earn Business Status Points to determine their company’s Business Status, and Asia Miles to redeem rewards.  

  • New scheme structure

    The six tiers in the previous programme are simplified into only three Business Statuses, meaning Tier 0-1 members will move to Status 1 (entry level status); Tier 2-3 members will move to Status 2 (mid-level status); and Tier 4-5 members will move to Status 3 (the highest status). 

  • Removal of Cash Vouchers

    As Business Plus members will now earn Asia Miles giving them thousands of redemption possibilities, cash vouchers will no longer be distributed. For cash vouchers and other rewards that are already earned under the previous programmme, Business Plus members can still use them before their original expiry date.
